Intended Outcomes

  1. Spread the Gospel of The Good News of Christ Jesus to everyone (Mark 16:15) in various formats. It is the prayer of Love The Tree of Life Clinic for people to come in for physical services and to leave with the Word of Salvation, which is what is truly needed.
  2. Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute (Proverbs 31:8).
  3. Assist homeless, and uninsured Virginia residents obtain basic medical care.
  4. Assist homeless individuals to obtain medical insurance.
  5. Assist homeless individuals, obtain a job and an affordable living home or a safe sleeping location through temporary short-term housing and community referral programs.
  6. Meet the basic human needs of the homeless and local community members impacted by poverty with food, clothing, and a shower.
  7. Physically prepare the homeless individual for a job interview (appropriate clothing, hair grooming, appearance, resume building, and the application process).
  8. Assist the homeless individual with a physical home address, a contact phone number, and to establish an email address to increase employment possibilities.
  9. Establish a safe space for communication, so that individual care plans can be developed to prevent hospital admissions, emergency department visits, panhandling or local law enforcement involvement.
  10. Assist nursing students in medical programs, RNs, and NPs find a meaningful clinical rotation and training facility, where the students services, evidenced-based practice (EBP) projects, and their clinical care both matter and save lives.
  11. Assist special needs individuals, find a work environment that is uplifting to both themselves and patients who interact with them.
