About

My Heart

I am a God-fearing Hispanic woman, Puerto Rican born. Servant Leader Life. Aspire to meet people where they are in life, creating an atmosphere of love, compassion, family, and peace in an untypical healthcare setting. I am an Orphan, my mother passed away when I was 9 years old, due to mental health disease. I was in 22 foster homes (separated from my siblings). Emancipated at the age of 15 with an Advocate Supervising Social Service Agency.

Learned early in life that Charity, Compassion, and Mercy Ministries were vital to the survival and ability of fellow broken people to effectively transition out of the Social Welfare System. Random compassionate givers made an impact on my life and mentored me to success. From lived experience cultivated by educational knowledge, I understand first-hand that poverty encompasses complex social problems.

What keeps me grounded: Jesus is Number 1. My husband (Emergency Department RN / Navy Veteran). My son’s quality of life actively concerns me. Joey is a 20-year-old special needs young man, who dreams of being a Police Officer. I want that for him!
